4 locals finished in the prime 8 of the 50th Zions Bank Boulder Mountain Tour on Feb. 4.

The 24-year-old completed the 34 kilometers in 1:17:55.2, almost a minute ahead of Salt Lake City’s Jack Hegman.
30-4-calendar year-outdated Matthew Gelso of Ketchum placed fourth in 1:18:46.4. Twenty-nine-calendar year-aged Tucker McCrerey of Hailey concluded sixth in 1:21:10.7, and 30-calendar year-aged Scott Schoen of Hailey was eighth in 1:22:24.2.

Wolter is at present sitting in 2nd put overall in the SuperTour standings, just ahead of SVSEF alumnus John Metal Hagenbuch, who now skis for Dartmouth Higher education.
Wolter is a graduate of Middlebury School, and present member of the SVSEF Gold Team. It was his first Boulder Mountain Tour.
Bozeman’s Hannah Rudd captured the women’s race in 1:26:27.4.
Ketchum’s Anika Miller took fifth in 1:28:14.9. She was followed by Hailey’s Mary Rose (sixth, 1:28:24.9), Sarah Armstrong (seventh, 1:32:57.3) and Alexas Turzian (eighth, 1:32.59.3).
Ketchum’s Brooke Hovey was 10th (1:33:02.2) and Fiona Ahearne 11th (1:33:16.4).
McCall 12-yr-aged Noah Eitel won the men’s Half Boulder (15 km) in 42:07.. Ketchum’s 13-calendar year-old Duncan Fryberger concluded 3rd in 42:30.5, when 38-12 months-aged Travis Presnell of Ketchum was sixth in 46:17.2, 50-calendar year-outdated Mark Davidson of Hailey was seventh in 46:51.9, 12-yr-previous Lukas Paaske of Hailey was eighth in 48:35.4, 38-calendar year-old Michael Sinnott of Hailey was ninth in 48:52.3, and 12-year-previous Finn O’Donnell of Ketchum was 10th in 49:19.2.
Boise’s Patti Bellan won the women’s Half Boulder in 46:04.8. Eleven-yr-outdated Sydney Nelson of Ketchum was fourth in 49:18., Joney Otteson of Ketchum was fifth in 49:37.8, Lisa Ryan-Boyle of Ketchum was ninth in 51:02., 13-12 months-aged Dylan Buck of Ketchum was 10th in 51:26.6, Linsey Nicholson of Ketchum was 11th in 51:56., and 13-year-previous Cora Brozowski Schrader of Ketchum was 12th in 51:56..
